Apparel Collabs at Bombas

Partnerships at Bombas created opportunities to tell deeper stories, reach new audiences, reinforce the brand’s mission, and generate product demand in meaningful ways.

I joined in January 2021 as the company’s first Senior Director of Partnerships. In addition to managing two junior team members, I was tasked with building a three-year strategic roadmap from scratch, executing high-profile partnerships from day one, and accelerating the pipeline immediately upon hire.

In my first year, I increased output across the board, resulting in a nearly 30% lift in partnerships-driven revenue. I was especially proud to launch collaborations with values-aligned partners like Cotopaxi and Sophia Roe, while also closing major revenue-generating deals with brands like Sesame Street and Disney.

From globally recognized brands to emerging talent, the collaborations team I led at Bombas touched every corner of the brand. We managed a full pipeline of potential partners and oversaw each collaboration from initial pitch to final delivery. I was responsible for end-to-end execution, including contract negotiation, royalty management, brand narrative development, product design, go-to-market planning, event activations, and content creation for both Bombas and the licensor. These programs required close collaboration with nearly every team across the company, often working on 12 to 15-month timelines.

Some Favorites . . .

Sophia Roe x Bombas

A collection of socks and t-shirts that symbolized our commitments to uplifting communities through access to essential clothing and nutritious food.

Sophia was the very first talent I pitched at Bombas - an emerging chef & fashionista with lived experience who could speak authentically to her audience about our mission.

The shirts sold out in 1 week!

Cotopaxi x Bombas

Bombas’ first-ever bundling offer with a partner: hiking socks and fanny packs made from remnant materials.

It was incredible to join forces with another B-corp to create a sustainbly-minded collection that gave back.

It sold out quickly and a reorder is in the works based on the success of the first launch.

Eric Carle x Bombas

The merchandise team wanted to bolster the kids business, so my team and I brought an Eric Carle collection to life with offerings for baby, toddler, youth, and adult socks.

In addition to the wonderfully whimsical product launch, the Eric Carle Estate and Bombas produced a series of free art events for children at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan & various family homeless shelters in NYC.
